The Max N?der Center for Rehabilitation Technologies and Outcomes ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ÊÓƵ is directed by Dr. Arun Jayaraman, PT, PhD. It is one of three core research groups based within the Center for Bionic Medicine of the Shirley Ryan ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ÊÓƵ.

The Max N?der team conducts outcomes-based research using advanced wearable sensors in addition to traditional performance-based and patient-reported measures. Currently, the research group is very unique in that it is one of the few clinical centers to develop and execute both industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated research in prosthetics, orthotics, rehabilitation robotics, as well as other assistive and adaptive technologies.
The Max N?der Center was founded via a philanthropic endowment from Ottobock HealthCare to encourage independent research in clinical outcomes in the field of Prosthetics, Orthotics & Rehabilitation Robotics.
